Anthony Amaral, the owner of Pocket Aces Construction (see project), is also a real estate broker in Toronto, Ontario. With construction and real estate being complementing fields, Anthony returned looking for a new real estate brand identity that would complement his existing construction company. He also wanted the brand and its materials to reflect his core values through these materials.

Here's a breakdown of everything he was looking for:

  • Brand Identity
  • Business Cards
  • Facebook Page Setup
  • Facebook Ads
Description

With this brand identity, we wanted the logo to be almost the same as the Pocket Aces Construction logo, but with some slight differences. With the original branding, it’s meant to emulate a standard playing card design. You can see this with the 2 suits being spades and clubs on the card silhouettes in the logo. The idea was to use the 2 other suits (hearts and diamonds) to be the starting point for the design, notably in terms of colour.

After some final design decisions and revisions, it was ultimately decided that the card suits would be omitted from the design for the time being. For colours and the overall design, having the playing card red with an additional gold gradient on the outline of the card silhouettes was a nice finish for the design.

Once the branding was completed I put together business cards as well as some Facebook posts and ads to promote the page and get potential leads.

Special thanks to Sam Garcia for his help with contributing to the original Pocket Aces Construction logo design. Check out his website for more of his work.
